Never Let Me Go (Alex Awards (Awards))

Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro This was a very interesting book. The premise was pretty startling though I have read others with similar themes. The approach was quite different though and the exploration of the group of children growing into adulthood was engaging. The book had a bittersweetness to it that might have bordered on horrific if not for the understated writing and complacency with which the main character accepted her life.
