Divergent (Divergent Series #1)

Divergent - Veronica Roth This was a really interesting plot/idea but she lost me a little when I realized that the premise was that people really could fit neatly into these 5 faction categories and to be divergent was to be able to fit into more than one. I think most people actually fall in the that category, so the author and I may disagree about something pretty basic. I also had some qualms about the character development of the main character and also of her family. I found it a little hard to believe that she would know so little about her own parents, but it was necessary for the plot. I'm still thinking about the book and there actually was a lot I did like, but the holes kept tripping me up. b
